size 12 fit my daughter well (8 year old, but tall and not tiny). its an easy cut so she was comfortable in it.
4 stars because the zipper doesnt work (we can get it on and off without opening it, so its manageable) and because i washed it as instructed but it looks like the top layer shrunk a little, its a bit shorter than the lining.
